The Paccurate team has been excited about this for a while now, so we're delighted to announce that we've joined NVIDIA Inception! Press release follows.
Brooklyn, NY—August, 2021—Paccurate today announced it has joined NVIDIA Inception, a program designed to nurture startups revolutionizing industries with advancements in AI and data sciences.
Paccurate is focused on leveraging AI to reduce the carbon footprint of the supply chain, and plans to eliminate 10% of parcel trucks on the road by 2025. Their cartonization engine of the same name determines optimal packing configurations for shipments in real time, reducing costs for retailers and ultimately reducing the number of trailers required to transport the same amount of orders.
NVIDIA Inception will allow Paccurate to accelerate R&D on a more powerful variant of their cartonization engine that runs on NVIDIA hardware. The program will also offer Paccurate the opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading experts and other AI-driven organizations.
“Seizing the opportunity to work with more powerful hardware is a no-brainer,” said Paccurate CEO James Malley. “For our largest enterprise customers, we have to return packing instructions in milliseconds. NVIDIA is helping our AI do a lot more, in the same amount of time.”
NVIDIA Inception helps startups during critical stages of product development, prototyping and deployment. Every NVIDIA Inception member gets a custom set of ongoing benefits, such as NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute credits, marketing support, and technology assistance, which provides startups with the fundamental tools to help them grow.
Since 2018, Paccurate has been providing advanced cartonization services to retailers, wholesalers, and 3PLS. A single, flexible API can be leveraged anywhere in a shippers Order to Cash flow, reducing transportation costs by ~6-15%, reducing wasted corrugated by ~13%, and reducing the cubic volume of boxes by ~22%. Paccurate powers the cartonization features in 5 of the top TMS systems on the market.
